Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Understand key accounting concepts and principles and apply them effectively in financial management.
2. Create, edit, and delete databases and companies within Tally software.
3. Manage account groups and subgroups to organize financial reporting efficiently.
4. Master ledger management, including creating ledger masters, mapping them to appropriate groups, and implementing ledger locks.
5. Effectively create and manage customer and vendor profiles for streamlined transaction processing.
6. Perform accurate voucher entry for various transaction types, including cash and bank transactions, journal entries, purchase and sales invoices, debit and credit notes, and PDC cheque deposits.
7. Generate essential financial reports such as profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, trial balances, and display, export to Excel, and print reports.
8. Implement system control measures, including backup and restore procedures, to ensure data integrity and security within Tally software.
